Look out cable news, a french connection is here!

France is set to go head to head with CNN and Fox news
starting Wednesday. The launch of the state-funded 24/7
news channel is part of President Chirac’s efforts to make
his country’s voice heard in the largely English-speaking
world of cable news.

Wonder if their news will be more broad-based and non-partisan?
