Toughest Actor of the Year
Ahh — the end of the year award season is upon us. There are awards for comedy and for drama… but is there one for toughest badass motherf***er? I thought not.
Well if such a thing did exist, it would be given to Native American actor Rudy Youngblood.
The actor, who plays Mayan hero Jaguar Paw in "Apocalypto", toughed it out through the entire shoot with multiple injuries, refusing to tell director Mel Gibson the extent of the damage because "nobody’s going to be my momma."
"I tore three ligaments in each foot, I ripped my quad muscle, separated my shoulder, popped out my collarbone, and I ran for months with a two-and-a-half-inch thorn in the bottom of my foot," he brags.
Someone give this guy a painkiller and a special award: Still Able to be Heroic With Multiple Injuries!
